Cookies Policy

The cookies and similar technologies All Tails uses, what each one does, and how you can control them.

Effective date: 2026-05-30

Overview

Effective: 30 May 2026 (temporary version pending counsel review) Version: 1.0.0

This policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies the All Tails website uses, why we use them, and how you can change your preferences. Read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file your browser stores when you visit a website. It lets the site remember you (so you don't have to log in every time, for example) or remember what you've done (so the website can be improved).

We also use similar technologies: localStorage entries, browser session IDs, and third-party SDK identifiers. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies and similar" in this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

CategoryAlways on?What it does
EssentialYesKeeps your booking session active, secures your form submissions, remembers your cookie preferences. Without these, the site won't work.
AnalyticsOff by default — on with consentLets us measure how visitors use the site (page views, drop-off points, performance). Helps us improve.
MarketingOff by default — on with consentLets us measure which marketing campaigns work and reach you with relevant offers.

You can change your analytics and marketing consent anytime via the cookie banner footer link or your Privacy & Data Rights page.

If you have not consented to marketing cookies, none of the marketing cookies above are set in your browser, and the Meta Pixel JavaScript does not load.

One exception — server-side Meta Conversions API at point of paid booking. When you complete a paid booking, our server sends a one-time hashed conversion signal to Meta Conversions API regardless of your cookie preferences. The signal includes only SHA-256 hashes of your phone, name, and city (never the plain text), and the standard IP / user-agent that the request already carried. This is the minimum we need to measure which advertising spend actually produced a paid booking, and is sent under DPDP §7 legitimate-use for measuring the effectiveness of the ad that brought you here. The signal is not sent on browsing alone — only when a paid transaction completes — and it does not place any cookie on your device.

If you would rather we not send this server-side signal, contact our Grievance Officer (see Privacy Policy §11) before completing payment.

4. How to change your preferences

You can change your preferences at any time:

  1. Cookie banner — click "Manage cookies" in the site footer to reopen the banner.
  2. Privacy & Data Rights page — toggle each category at /account/privacy.
  3. Browser settings — every modern browser lets you clear cookies entirely or block them per site.

Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we measured before you withdrew. Going forward, we'll stop loading the trackers you've opted out of.

5. Children

We do not knowingly use analytics or marketing cookies on visitors we have reason to believe are children. Our service is intended for adults booking on behalf of their pets.

6. Updates

We will update this list when we add or remove tools. Material changes will be flagged via the cookie banner so you can re-confirm your preferences.

7. Contact
